1840 ORIGINAL SPOONER CARICATURE NO.4 THE 'WRITING' CARICATURE. A good unused ORIGINAL example of the 1840 Spooner Caricature NO.4, slight toning at top, headed 'For we're all writing write, write, writing' with Britannia seated upon the lion scribbling away using her shield as a desk, with the lion wearing his spectacles and also writing. A superb caricature. (Ref 142272).
