CIRCA 1890 DERAEDEMAEKER REPRINT SOUTHGATE CARICATURE NO.3 'PEG LEG SAILOR' ON PALE YELLOW PAPER. A very fine unused example circa 1890 Deraedemaeker reprint of the Souuthgate caricature No.3 in black on pale yellow wove paper. Caricature depicts scenes of joviality as a result of cheaper postage with 'Peg Leg' sailor at lower right receiving a letter. There are also celebrations in the background following a naval victory over the Chinese. (Ref 142267).
