Sandall, Stamford' with 1d (SG8) lettered QF, cut into, tied fine strike '716' numeral of Stamford. Within fine printed content reference 'Lincolnshire. County Lunatic Asylum.' ordering various towns to unite and pay £3000 to erect and provide an asylum for 'Pauper Lunatics'. On reverse 'SLEAFORD' date stamp MY 14 1852.  Unusual. (Ref 142057).
