1870 QV ½D MAUVE POST CARD USED BRIDPORT OC 6 70, SIXTH DAY OF ISSUE. Used QV ½d mauve post card, horizontal crease from Bridport to Plymouth and cancelled two good to very fine strikes BRIDPORT single ring date stamp OC 6 70. This post card was introduced October 1st 1870, early provincial usage. (Ref 126214).
