A superb unused ORIGINAL example 1840 Spooner Caricature No.3 in black on white wove paper depicting Britannia shown playing a fiddle with eye patch astride a donkey. At left and right various figures speculating upon the contents of the letters. 'I've no idea who this is from', 'from A Dun for a Crown', 'from my private correspondent', A remittance I expect', 'An Invite to a Spread for Guinea' and I can guess who this is from'.
