1843 1D MULREADY WRAPPER 'ATLAS ASSURANCE COMPANY' ADVERT (MA103k) FINE USED WOLVERHAMPTON TO BIRMINGHAM. Fine used 1d Mulready wrapper, stereo A246, from Wolverhampton to 'Mr Lawrence, Birmingham Coal Co, Birmingham' with light strike Wolverhampton Maltese cross in black cancelled clear of Britannia, contrary to regulations and on reverse 'BIRMINGHAM' date stamp SP 2 1843. Within fine 'Atlas Assurance Company' printed advert, at bottom left '92, Cheapside, Aug.1843' with claims paid table 11 lines. Only ten used examples recorded to date. (Ref 141762).
