A good to fine unused example of the 1911 First Official Aerial Post London privilege postcard in violet, minor soiling, with printed illustration at right of a red pillar box inscribed 'AERIAL POST/CLOSED'. On reverse fine printed message 'A Souvenir of 1911, with loyal New Year greetings, from D. Lewis-Poole, Honorary Organiser of the Coronation Aerial Post and Contractor to H.M's Postmaster General for the conveyance of Mails by Aeroplane' (message type 1), card unsigned by Lewis-Poole.
