Envelope from London to 'Mr William Cockburn, Pinacle Reef, Lachlan, Forbes, New South Wales' with 6d lilac (SG84) lettered HH, defective at upper right, tied good strike 'LONDON-E.C/80' duplex FE 19 63. Endorsed 'Via Southampton' and 'To be left at Forbes Post-Office' and on front fine strike of the boxed 'ADVERTISED/UNCLAIMED.' instructional hand stamp. On reverse oval 'N.S.W.' hand stamp, 'SYDNEY' date stamp AP 17 1863, 'FORBES' date stamp AP 19 1863 and 'SYDNEY/NEW SOUTH WALES' date stamp JU 18 1863. Presumably undelivered and returned to sender.
