Fine wrapper from London to 'Messrs Peter and Lehnder, Constantinople' with 1s green (SG72) good used several short perforations and slightly off-centre tied London '20' Inland Office numeral. On front very fine strike 'BRITISH.POST.OFFICE/CONSTANTINOPLE/PAID' circular date stamp in red JA 3 1858 code 'A'. On reverse 'LONDON' date stamp DE 24 57. Good usage. (Ref 142342).
