Envelope, small fault upper left from London to Mollis, Switzerland with fine three colour combination 4d carmine (SG66), Die 2 1d rose-red on white paper (SG40) and 6d lilac (SG69) tied fine strikes London '18' Inland Office numeral. On reverse 'LONDON' date stamp DE 28 59 and 'ZURICH' date stamp 1 JAN 60. Attractive usage paying the impossible 10½d rate to Switzerland, overpaid because no ½d stamps were available. (Ref 141472).
