Casse Jacobsen and Rothe, The Committee for the Execution of the Gas and Water Works, Copenhagen' endorsed 'Via Belgium' with 2d blue pl.4 S.C.16 (SG19) x 5 and Die 1 1d (SG17) all cancelled fine strikes London Inland Office '12' numerals. On front 'P.' handstamp in orange and manuscript '6' presumably referring to a credit to the Belgium Post Office. Letter dated 21 NOV 1854 and on reverse 'K.D.O.P.A. HAMBURG' datestamp 24/11.
