    1854 1D ARCHER EXPERIMENTAL PERFORATION PL.97 (SG16b) ON COVER BRADFORD, YORKS TO DERBY. Fine printed wrapper from Bradford in Yorkshire to Derby with good to fine 1d Archer experimental perforation pl.97 (SG16b) tied fine strike '107' numeral of Bradford. Stamp one short perforation at upper right otherwise fine to very fine and showing BOTH CHECK LETTERS MISPLACED IN LETTER SQUARES. On reverse 'BRADFORD.YORKS' date stamp MR 28 1854 and 'DERBY' date stamp MR 29 1854. Twenty examples of the Archer experimental printing are recorded within Yorkshire, this being the only example from Bradford. (Sheffield x 11, York x 2 and the single examples from Barnsley, Bradford, Leeds, Skipton, Pocklington, Wakefield and Whitby). Rare provincial usage. (Ref 142083).
