Fine used 1850 1d Archer experimental perforation pl.100 (SG16b) lettered IF, well centred and fine perforations with London '10' Inland Office numeral clear of alphabet 1 check letter. Matched with good to fine 1d imperforate with four close to fine margins and cancelled '723' numeral of Southampton. Both stamps show 'F' extended serif. Fine matched pair. (Ref 133696).
