Good to fine ladies envelope, published by Rock and Co. of London with fine embossed border of flowers, from Ipswich to 'Mrs Hanbury, Mrs Honywoods, Marks Hall, Kelvedon' with fine 1d red pl.5 (SG7) lettered RL very close but clear at upper right, part sheet margin at right and cancelled very fine strike Ipswich Maltese Cross in black. On reverse 'IPSWICH' date stamp OC 26 1841 'KELVEDON' date stamp OC 27 1841. Attractive usage ex the personal collection of Ron Alcock. (Ref 142232).
