Fine used 1841 Pre-provisional issue in red (AS69) before plate repair, lettered BD, fine four margins, fine strike black Maltese Cross and clearly showing 'O' flaw. Good to fine 1d black (SG2) lettered BD after plate repair, (Spec AS70), corner bend but fine four margins without 'O' flaw and showing weaker upper squares and check letters. Also two examples of 1d red following plate repair (AS 71), a single good to fine used with four margins indistinct black Maltese Cross and four margined example on wrapper Edinburgh to Leith dated APR 10 1842.
