Fine to very fine used 1840 1d grey-black pl.1A (SG3) lettered BA with four margins and red Maltese cross, showing 10 o'clock ray flaw and vertical guide line NE square. Matched with good used 1d black pl.1B (SG2) with 7 and 10 o'clock ray flaws, corner bend and indistinct red Maltese cross but fine four margins. (Ref 141122).
