Envelope from London to Leeds with good used 1d black pl.5 (SG2) lettered TC, margin very close at foot and touched upper right, tied fine strike red-orange Maltese cross. One front contemporary manuscript '17 June 40' and on reverse fine strike London date stamp JU 17 1840. This date being the first recorded usage of plate five. A VERY RARE USAGE. (Ref 141119).
