Large piece London to Leeds with fine to very fine used horizontal strip of four lettered JE JF JG JH, JG close but clear at foot otherwise very fine margins and tied very fine strikes London Maltese cross in red. Stamps in the earlier black shade before too much plate wear. On reverse fine London date stamp MY 15 1840.  Attractive and rare May date multiple. (Ref 140824).
