Fine letter Old Meldrum to Aberdeen dated 26 Jan 1841 with good used 1d grey-black pl.3 (SG3) lettered LE, possibly repositioned on envelope, very close but just clear at foot otherwise good margins, cancelled red-orange Maltese crosses. On reverse fine strike "OLD/MELDRUM" two line hand stamp in black. (Ref 114943).
