Envelope Southwold to "Mr. Baas Esqre Manager East of England Bank Halesworth" with used 1d black pl.3 (SG2) lettered OG, touched at right, tied fine black M.C. of Southwold. On front very fine strike "Southwold/Penny Post" hand stamp in black (SK311). Within fine banker's imprint payable to Harveys and Hudsons of Southwold dated 27 May 1841. As with most envelopes from this correspondence usual creasing, stamp affected in this instance. (Ref 113377).
