CIRCA 1938 WATERLOW AND SONS LTD 'DUMMY STAMP' USING HEAD OF KING GEORGE VI. A fine and unusual group of six unused circa 1938 'dummy stamps' produced by the printers Waterlow and Sons Ltd believed to promote their rotary direct plate printing machine (Rotaglio). Two in purple, one imperf and one perforated, three in shades of red, two imperf and one perforated and single perforated example in green, all on unwatermarked gummed paper. (6 items). (Ref 139484).
