Good used 1853 1d imperf pl.163 (SG8) lettered PJ with four very close but clear to good margins, cancelled '374' numeral of Holyhead (Anglesey) matched with a second fine used imperforate with fine margins and a fine used example of the scarcer perforated S.C.16 issue (SG17). The latter with Scottish local cancellation, none of the stamps show the constant variety listed by SG 'MARK IN J SQUARE' but confirmed as plate 163. Scarce trio, ex Folkard collection. (Ref 122459).
