VALENTINE "THE PAST/THE FUTURE" ENVELOPE/PROOF IN GREY. A good original proof circa 1855 in grey (190 x 128) on white wove paper. At left depicted the horrors of war (probably the Crimean) and at right the benefits of peace. Slight soiling but scarce. (Ref 110563).
