VALENTINE "THE PAST/THE FUTURE" ENVELOPE/PROOF IN RED. A very fine original proof circa 1855 in red (190 x 128) on white wove paper. At left depicted the horrors of war (probably the Crimean) and at right the benefits of peace. Scarce. (Ref 110562).
