This double strike of the Maltese cross is usually found at Spilsby in Lincolnshire but Mike Jackson lists three examples, not including this usage from Alford. The other three usages at Alford are April 1841, 21st Sept 1841 and Nov 1841. Filing fold well clear of stamp etc. Rare. (Ref 143826).
