1662 MAIL FROM YARMOUTH TO THOMAS PENGELLY, NORWICH WITH PENGELLY MANUSCRIPT BISHOP MARK '19/4'. Fine letter from a George Harper in Yarmouth dated April 16th 1662 'To Mr Thomas pengelly, Merchant at Mr Richards in Norwich' and on reverse fine manuscript Bishop mark believed by Thomas Pengelly '19/4'. Thomas Pengelly who frequented London would have been aware of the introduction of the Bishop mark and has replicated this idea in Norfolk. Rare and the first example we have seen/handled.
