CIRCA 1834-1840 CROSS WRITTEN LETTER WETHERBY TO BEVERLEY WITH 'WETHERBY/PENNY POST' HAND STAMP (YK3142). Fine cross written but undated letter from Wetherby to 'Francis Watt Esqr. Junior, Beverley', charged '8' on front good strike 'Wetherby/Penny Post' hand stamp in red (YK3142), on reverse fine strike boxed 'No.1' receiver's hand stamp of Wetherby in black. Penny Post hand stamp recorded 1834-1840. (Ref 128176).
