Envelope Southwold to 'East of England Bank Halesworth' with 1d black pl.3 (SG2) lettered SE, just touched at lower right and small tear otherwise fine margins, tied fine strike black Maltese Cross of Southwold. Alongside very fine strike 'Southwold/Penny Post' hand stamp in black (SK311). As usual on this correspondence diagonal filing fold affects stamp. Flap within fine banking receipt 'Please to pay Messrs. HANKEYS, and Co., London on account of HARVEYS, and HUDSONS, Southwold.'. Attractive usage. (Ref 118869).
