Description
1840 'OXONIAN' BOATING CARICATURE NO. 2 USED FRONT. A very rare used front, corner imperfections but showing a general view of Oxford with the river, boat race and an archery meeting. Imprint reads 'OXONIAN DELINT' and 'No 2'. Postally used with ms '1' in red and addressed to 'Mifs Miller, Benefield, Oundle, Northamptonshire'. Superb caricature. (Ref 117110).
