Fine letter from 'Park' 'To Mr. Collingwood Secy., To the Foundling Hospital' dated May 24 1768, on reverse very fine strike Westminster Office Dockwra hand stamp type 4 (L363)(PENNY on left) and within 'W/FR'. Also on reverse fine strike 'o'CLOCK/2/T' time hand stamp (L366) and good strike 'WILLERTON' London post straight line receivers hand stamp in black (L375). Writer states 'I propose in six days time to draw for 30£. My children are not yet inoculated, being disappointed of some conveniences for the purpose, but shall as soon as possible.'. Fine usage.
