Fine wrapper, spike hole, from Yeovil to 'Mr. Whitehead, Baltonsbury nr Glastonbury' dated August 2nd 1844 with fine 1d (SG8) lettered LL, fine four margins and tied good strike '929' barred numeral of Yeovil. On reverse YEOVIL date stamp AU 2 1844. This numeral first recorded in use 13th May 1844, this being an early usage. (Ref 128455).
