Stamp tied London '77' District Office duplex. Reverse flap shows the blue emblem of the "COMMISSARIAT" Department, overstruck by very fine wax seal "ARMY OF THE EAST/CHIEF OF THE STAFF". Note within flap 'We hear nothing about coming home but hope to start before long'. (Ref 73249).
