460. DIE II COMBINATION OF ALP II & ALP III PLATES. 1856 envelope Henley-on-Thames to France with pair die II alp III plate 28 lettered JD/JE and single plate 38 lettered MD (SG 29). Also 1d star die II alp II plate 7 (Spec. C6) lettered MC, tied '355' numerals of Henley. Backstamped SP/28/1856. Very scarce combination - two alphabets and three plates. (*) (Ref 59061) £225.00
