167. STAMPS FROM FIVE COUNTRIES USED BRISTOL TO EGYPT. 1905 envelope Bristol to Cairo and thence REDIRECTED with five G.B. KEdVII ½d, also stamps from Switzerland, Malta, Spain and North Borneo - all cancelled Bristol AU/17/05. Unusual. (*) (Ref 54111) £150.00

168. RAILWAYS/NORFOLK. 1908 postcard of London Bank and Royal Exchange to Felixestowe with KEdVII 1d tied very fine strike of the 'Norwich.Sorting.Tender Down' cds NO/9/08. (*) (Ref 63278) £15.00

       
   

170. 1912 HAND PAINTED ENVELOPE. Used locally in London with pair of ½d Downey cancelled London 'EC' MY.12.12 with very fine hand painted in blue ink drawing of internal market place. Several small tone spots but very attractive and unusual. (*) (Ref 62194) £175.00

       

171. WEMBLEY EXHIBITION. A very fine telegram souvenir card of the Post Office exhibit advertising the service with illustration. On reverse side fine strikes of the 'Empire Exhibition 1925/Post Office Exhibit./Government Pavilion/Wembley' slogan and circular 'P.O. Exhibit Govt Pavilion-Wembley' double-ringed datestamp, lion within, dated 4/JUL/1925. Scarce and very fine quality. (*) (Ref 61673) £175.00

174. 1932 'POSTED UNDER COVER'/CORNWALL. Envelope to London (G.J. King) with pair of KGV 1d tied very fine strikes of the 'Three Hammers Launceston' datestamps in purple 30/JUN/32. At upper left manuscript 'Posted in London under cover to the Postmaster of Three Hammers'. Unusual. (*) (Ref 53475) £45.00
