107. 1913 POSTAL STATIONERY TO JAPAN. A good KGV ½d Downey postcard uprated with an KEdVII ½d cut-out both cancelled Paddington 5/MAR/13 and addressed to Peking, China with Peking receiver on front. Some creasing but an interesting note presumably between two stamp collectors re 1d imperfs and KGV varieties. (*) (Ref 53717) £75.00

108. ADVERTISING. Circa 1911 envelope Wigston (Leics) to Liverpool with KEdVII ½d perfinned 'T.S. Ltd' of 'Two Steeples' of Wigston with fine illustrated advert at left concerning their attendance at the 1911 Clothing & Outfitting Exhibition at The Royal Agricultural Hall London. Unusual. 109. 1911 Coronation 'FIRST UK AERIAL POST' TO CANADA. A fine aerial postcard with pair of ½d and a 1d carmine envelope with 1d Downey both cancelled with the aerial post handstamp SP/9/1911. Both with 'Goldlands' Ontario receivers. Scarce destination. (*) (Ref 59254) £350.00

113. RE-DIRECTED MAIL. 1930 postcard London to Greifswald, Germany with KGV ½d and 1d cancelled Kentish Town 27/JUL/1930 REDIRECTED to Swinemunde with German 8Pfg cancelled 29.7.30. (*) (Ref 60559) £22.50

114. EXPRESS MAIL. 1935 envelope with 'Express' red label and with KGV 6d block cypher and 1½d photogravure cancelled Sussex datestamps 15/MR/35. (*) (Ref 57687) £17.50

   

115. 1935 envelope, registered mail, from Parkstone (Dorset) to New York with KGV 5d brown (SG 425) and ½d photogravure (SG 439) tied Parkstone cds' 2/AP/35. On front various instructional marks include 'Special Delivery', 'Fee Claimed by Office of first address' and US Customs handstamp. US 10c affixed and cancelled for US postal service charge?
