297. SG 17 WITH DOUBLE PERFORATIONS. A fine used 1d star die I plate 176 S.c.16 (SG 17) showing double strike of perforations at top and sides. Fine variety - AE a missing Imprimatur lettering. (*) (Ref 56193) £75.00

298. 1854 1d star plate 177 (SG 17). Good used example lettered PC, centred upper right, stamp shows BLIND 'P'. (*) (Ref 58938) £10.00

     

299. 1854 die I 1d star S.C.16 WATERMARK INVERTED (SG 17Wi). A fine to very fine used pair from reserve plate 1 lettered OE/OF, a little off-centre, cancellations clear of Queen's profile. Attractive and scarce multiple. (PT) (Ref 55304) £275.00

300. 1854 2d 'SHORT 'A' ROW STAMP'. 1855 ladies envelope, slight imperfections, from Maidstone to France with 2 x 2d plate 4 S.C. 14 (SG 23a) lettered AB and BB tied Maidstone sideways duplex' JY/12/1855.
