141. 1d BLACK MULTIPLE USAGE ON COVER. 1840 wrapper Torquay to Basingstoke dated NOV/6/1840 with two four margined horizontal pairs of 1d black plate 1b lettered AB/AC and AD/AE tied red M.C.'s. Light fold affects AC and AE and AC surface rub at upper right nevertheless a most unusual and attractive usage. RPS cert. 172532 notes those defects and also comments 'treated for stains'.
