A good used 1d Mulready wrapper, Stereo A54 London to a solicitor in Leeds, several filing folds, cancelled good strike of the black Maltese cross, on reverse London date stamp OC 28 1842. On front LEEDS receiver OC 29 1842 also double ringed circular instructional "MORE TO PAY" and ms "2" charge mark in black. Scarce example of an underpaid Mulready. (Ref 116818).
