Envelope from Ellesmere to 'Mifs Elizh Powell, Clapton House, Hackney, Middlesex' with 1d red from plate 9 (SG7) lettered CA, touched at upper left otherwise good margins and tied fine strike Ellesmere Maltese cross and alongside 'ELLESMERE' date stamp AU 19 1841. Stamp clearly shows 'O' flaw. On reverse fine wafer seal in black and white depicting flowers. (Ref 133024).
