1847 SURREY/"BENTLEY" UDC. Fine letter Farnham to Shaftsbury Dorset dated 25 Feb 1847 with 1d (SG8) lettered GK, touched at right, tied neat "292" numeral of Farnham and alongside FARNHAM date stamps FE 25 1847. Also on front very fine strike BENTLEY udc in black. Bentley has connections with Baden Powell, founder of the Boy Scout movement. (Ref 113048).
