1896 G.P.O. 'TIME BILL' FOR THE NIGHT MAIL TRAIN SHREWSBURY TO ABERYSTWITH AND ABERYSTWITH BACK TO SHREWSBURY. A rare unused 'GENERAL POST OFFICE.... SHREWSBURY and ABERYSTWITH Time Bill' printed in green with fine printed details of the railway station stops, expected time of arrival or departure and at left space for the guard to make particular comments concerning any incidents. This example lists the following stations: Shrewsbury, Welshpool, Montgomery, Abermule, Newtown, Moat Lane, Caersws, Carno, Llanbrynmair, Cemmaes Road, Machynlleth, Glandovey, Ynyslas, Borth, Llanfihangel, Bow Street and Aberystwith. These time bills would have been post marked upon arrival and then sent using the printed address panel on reverse to 'The Inspector-General of Mails, General Post Office, London.'. A rare survivor.
