1844 MAIL OAKHAM TO KETTERING WITH SUPERB OAKHAM MALTESE CROSS AND 'GOOD NIGHT' WAFER SEAL. Wrapper from Oakham to 'J. C. Gotch Esqr, Kettering, Northamptonshire' with 1d (SG8) lettered KI, filing fold affects but with good four margins and tied superb strike Oakham Maltese cross. On front 'OAKHAM' date stamp MR 15 1844 and on reverse fine white wafer seal 'GOOD NIGHT' with image of a candle. (Ref 131401).
