1852-1854 1D PL.157 MATCHED TRIO 1D IMPERF (SG8) X 2 AND 1D PERF (SG17) LETTERED NL. Two good to fine used 1852 1d imperf (SG8) lettered NL, both with four margins, earlier impression cancelled '250' of Devonport, later impression showing plate wear cancelled Scottish '133' numeral of Elgin. Matched with a good 1d perforated example S.C.16 (SG17) lettered NL, several short perforations at top but very lightly cancelled with Queen's profile. All show 'N' MISPLACED. Ex Folkard collection.
