Fine entire Woolwich to 'Mrs Macbean, No. 76 Queens Street, Edinburgh, N Britain' dated June 20 1794 with manuscript 'Pd 1' for London post and charge '7' for mail to Edinburgh. On front fine to very fine strike of the rare large type 'GREENWH/- 1 -' receiving house hand stamp in black (L418). On reverse light strike Edinburgh Bishop mark in red. (Ref 123324).
