1795 'RICHMD - 2 -' RECEIVING HOUSE HAND STAMP LONDON PENNY POST (L419). Letter, repaired spike hole, from Richmond to 'Frederick Booth Esqr. Craven Street Strand London' dated June 27 1795, posted unpaid and on front fine strike of the very large '2' hand stamp in black (L594). Also on front superb strike of the rare large type 'RICHMD/- 2 -' receiving house hand stamp in black (L419), on reverse good strike London date stamp '7 o'Clock/JU.27/95 EVEN' in red. (Ref 123313).
