Letter from Driffield, East Yorks to 'Mr Gannis, Solicitor, Spilsby, Lincolnshire' with good 1d red pl.5 (SG7) lettered AE (spec AS29) with four very close but just clear to good margins and tied fine strike black Maltese cross of Driffield. On front 'DRIFFIELD' date stamp AU 10 1841 in red and 'SPILSBY' date stamp AU 13 1841 in black, filing folds clear of stamp. (Ref 131279).
