CIRCA 1820 BRIDGNORTH TO BRAMPTON BRYAN, HEREFORDSHIRE WITH MANUSCRIPT 'MIFSENT TO LEOMINSTER'. Undated wrapper from Bridgnorth to 'Mr John Longman, Adforton, near Brampton Bryan, Herefordshire' charged '7', evidently missorted and on front light manuscript in red 'mifsent to Leominster'. On reverse, over flap good strike 'BRIDGNORTH/148' mileage mark in black (SH68), this hand stamp only recorded in use 1820-1824. (Ref 131591).
