Fine letter from Portsmouth to Weymouth dated Jan 22 1840, within a letter from Poole dated 23rd Jan 1840, and on front ms "Not" with WEYMOUTH date stamp alongside JA 25 1840 with additional ms "try Portsmouth". Appears that the recipient redirected the mail to original writer with his letter to avoid postal charge? (Ref 110420).
