Letter used in London addressed to 'Counsellour Wedderburn, Member of Parliamt, at his House, London' dated April 22nd 1777, some splitting and strengthening on reverse. On reverse fair strike 'HOWDEN' London Post receiver's straight line hand stamp in black (L375) and good strike Westminster Office Dockwra hand stamp type 4 (L363) (PENNY at left) within 'W/WE'.
