1834 MOURNING WRAPPER LONDON TO NORWICH WITH 'TO PAY/2d/ONLY' HAND STAMP IN BROWN (L808c). Fine mourning wrapper sent free mail from London to Norwich dated December 18 1834, on front fine strike hand stamp '2' charge mark in black and fine strike of octagonal framed hand stamp 'TO PAY/2d/ONLY' in brown (L808c), first month recorded usage of this hand stamp. On reverse light strike London Country Sorting Office date stamp. Ex Hugh Feldman collection. (Ref 128264).
